Angels and Divas Fashion Show: Making a Difference with...Style

On Thursday, October 8, 2009, the first annual Angels and Divas fashion show made its debut at the St. Paul Hotel, offering a 'girls' night out' filled with fabulous fashions, exellent food and amazing entertainment.
Thank you to everyone who came out for this event. With more than 200 ladies attending to raise almost $10,000, the evening proved a success.
The evening began with an incredible runway show where beautiful models displayed the latest fall and winter trends. Fashions featured were from Crissy Kochendorfer and hip Twin Cities stores like Hot Mama, La Rue Marche and Zelaz.
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear David Wagner, founder/owner of JUUT salons, author of “The Day Maker” and recent cancer survivor, speak about how cancer has changed his life. After his presentation, David made himself available for book signings and graciously donated all of the evening’s book sales to Angel Foundation.
But all beautiful evenings must come to a close, and what better way to do so than with Elizabeth Hermanson singing “Fight like a Girl." She has an amazing voice and left the audience feeling heart warmed yet powerful.
Thank you to everyone who donated to our raffle. All stores participating in the show donated a $100 gift card; JUUT Salon donated a $250 gift card; La Belle Vie donated a $130 gift card. Thanks to The Little Wine Shoppe, The Wine Thief and Trader Joes for their generous donations as well.
Special thanks to Crissy Kochendorfer who was instrumental in the creation and planning of this event. We look forward to another successful girls’ night out for Angel Foundation in 2010.
