What is the purpose of Camp Angel?

Camp Angel provides three days of therapeutic activities for children and teens (kindergarten-18) with a parent or caregiver who has or has had cancer. Camp provides a unique opportunity for children and teens to have fun and enjoy camp activities, along with intentional and meaningful activities lead by trained volunteers and staff.

Is Camp Angel an overnight or day camp?

Ages kindergarten-12 (must have already attended kindergarten) attend day camp. Teens (13-18) stay overnight.

Where is Camp Angel located?

Camp Angel is held at Camp Eden Wood, located at 6350 Indian Chief Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55346.

How much does Camp Angel cost?

All Angel Foundation Facing Cancer Together Programs are FREE due to generous donations.

Does Camp Angel accept campers with special needs?

If your special needs child is struggling with your diagnosis and he/she would benefit from Camp Angel, please complete an application with detailed information about the needs of your child. A member of our team will contact you to discuss our ability to meet your child’s needs safely and in a way that would benefit you and your child.

Can I fill out one online form for all my children that attend camp?

No, you must complete individual registration forms for each of your children.

How will I know my child(ren) have been accepted to camp?

Each registration application will be reviewed in detail and may require a follow-up phone call prior to registration being complete. Registration will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis until camp is full. At that time, a waiting list will be created. An emailed confirmation letter will be sent to you once your child has been accepted with additional details about camp.
