Angel Foundation recently received an Emergency Financial Assistance application from a 36-year-old librarian who has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Last month, her husband was laid-off from his job and she is finding it difficult to work during her treatment. They are falling behind on their bills as the family’s income shrinks and medical expenses rise. To this patient, an $850 Emergency Financial Assistance grant would allow her to buy groceries for her children and catch up on rent payments so she can have one less thing to worry about while in treatment.
Thank you for supporting this local cancer patient!
