Angel Foundation recently received an Emergency Financial Assistance grant from a widowed father of five living in Elk River. This 47-year-old man was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma and has been unable to work for several weeks. The patient’s disease is progressing rapidly and his family is scrambling to figure out how to cover their expenses moving forward. An Emergency Financial Assistance grant of $850 will allow this family to catch up on overdue utility bills and purchase groceries as they face their uncertain future.
