Caregiver Support Group
Common Roots Cafe – Thursday, July 5, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Are you a parent whose partner has cancer? Presented in partnership with Jack’s Caregiver Coalition, this program is designed for people currently serving as both a parent and caregiver in the household. This gathering is casual – nothing preconceived, no agenda – just time to share. Beverages and appetizers provided.

Drop off the kids (5-18) who will get to create art, play games and eat dinner. We’ll take the parents to a nearby restaurant for dinner, socializing and discussing common interests. this program fills quickly so register soon!

Urban Adventure
Drop off at Mill City Museum – Thursday, July 17, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Join us as we spend the day exploring some of the most beautiful and historic sites in downtown Minneapolis! City tour includes stops at Mill City Museum, Stone Arch Bridge, St. Anthony Falls, and Izzy’s Ice Cream shop. For kids and teens (ages 5 – 18). Bring a bag lunch.

Waterpark Night
Apple Valley Aquatic Center – Sunday, July 29, 7:30 – 10 p.m.

Whether you enjoy riding the slides or lounging in the lazy river, you won’t want to miss this fun evening at the waterpark! Take time to socialize and build your support network with other adults and families that have a parent or caregiver with cancer. Snacks provided


Teen Outreach

Wheel Fun Rental – Lake Harriet
Lake Harriet – Thursday, July 19, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Calling all teens! Make the most of your Minnesota summer and join us for a relaxing afternoon canoeing and picnicking by the lake. Wear swimsuits, sandals and meet at Wheel Fun by 10:45 a.m. Lunch provided.


Camp Angel

Camp Eden Wood – June 22 – 24 or August 16 – 18, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
