Children and Family Services
We have moved much of our programing to virtual due to COVID-19. Please join our private Facebook page to participate. Join at https://www.facebook.com/groups/882485152191180/.
At Angel Foundation, we know that a parental cancer diagnosis affects the entire family. That’s why our Facing Cancer Together program provides a variety of free, kid-friendly activities and resources that teach healthy communication and coping skills in a fun, age-appropriate, and hands-on way. Activities are available to your family even if you’re not currently in active treatment. In addition to our free programs, we always welcome calls from parents and grandparents so we can help you manage difficult conversations and specific situations.
Monthly ZOOM Calls for Everyone
We haven’t let COVID-19 slow us down! Children, preteens, teens, and parents/adults are welcome to join in our monthly Zoom calls (60 minutes) to connect with individuals going through a similar cancer experience. We will share tips and tools, have conversations about having a parent/grandparent with cancer, or parenting through cancer and the impact it has on your family.
All calls are at 7:00 pm. They are free to join, but registration is required to get the Zoom log-on.
Children (4-8): Wednesday, May 5; Tuesday, June 1
Preteen (9-12): Thursday, May 6; Thursday, June 3
Teens (12-18): Tuesday, May 11; Monday, June 7
