Angel Foundation has many loyal supporters who host events to benefit our programs – Emergency Financial Assistance and Facing Cancer Together. Many of these events are open to the public to participate and show support for Angel Foundation. These events range from annual golf outings and musical performances to hockey or fishing tournaments, skydiving and more. Last year alone, these community fundraisers raised more than $425,000 in support of Angel Foundation.
Host Your Own Event
We encourage you to start your own fundraising event to benefit Angel Foundation and the adults with cancer and their families we serve. This is a great opportunity for church or school groups, office fundraisers, volunteer organizations or individuals to make a difference in their community.
The possibilities are endless! To get started:
- Think of an activity you enjoy, or an event you would be interested in attending. Previous supporters have held bean bag tosses, “dress-down” days, spaghetti dinners, benefit concerts and even hot dog stands! If it is something you enjoy, others probably agree.
- Determine a date, time and location. Keep in mind that some locations may require rental fees or special permits/forms to hold fundraising events.
