Angel Foundation provides $1 million in emergency financial assistance to adults with cancer in 2015
Angel Foundation just hit a huge milestone for 2015 – we have provided more than $1 million in emergency financial assistance this year alone! And since 2001, we have provided nearly $6 million to local adults with cancer and their families!
This is a milestone we are beyond excited to celebrate, and we don’t do it alone. With the donations of many generous individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations, Angel Foundation was able to help 1,381 individuals with rent and mortgage payments, food, utility bills and fuel gift cards. Thank you to our compassionate and dedicated supporters for helping us reach this goal!
We also want to recognize the social workers, nurses and all of those in the healthcare community who help share our programs with their patients and clients. Thank you for making sure those in our cancer community are aware of and have access to Angel Foundation’s vital programs.
Julia Valley, a 2015 emergency financial assistance recipient says, “My family and I are sincerely grateful for the help and thoughtfulness that Angel Foundation has provided in paying our mortgage. Through your assistance we are able to focus on getting better and spending priceless time with each other rather than focusing on expenses.”
