As promised, we are following up today with more details on our second annual Bowling for Angel fundraiser. The event was a huge success, raising more than $60,000 for adult cancer patients and their families in the metro area. Many thanks to Dave Fine and his awesome team at AT&T for hosting the event on November 7 at the Park Tavern in St. Louis Park. More than 300 bowlers turned out for this full day of bowling, raffles, food and fun. Among them were several teams from Minnesota Oncology. One of those bowlers shares her thoughts…and photos…from the event:

The “Army of Angels” at Minnesota Oncology had a wonderful time supporting the 2010 Bowling for Angel event. Our clinics fielded 12 teams this year…double what we had in 2009!

Flurries of creative fundraising events were held throughout our practice, raising close to $8,000 for Angel Foundation. We are proud to support this wonderful event and even more proud of our dedicated employees who give their time and finances to help our cancer patients. It’s a privilege and such great fun to bowl, laugh and cheer on this amazing day, and know that our efforts will help so many throughout the year. Enjoy our photoshow from this year’s event:
