Fall officially begins this weekend, and it looks to be glorious. In this beautiful season of transitions, Minnesotans now begin the annual ritual of transforming from summer to winter in home, garden and wardrobe.

So as people begin to look for seasonal updates for homes and closets, it’s good timing that there are a couple great shopping opportunities coming up that not only appeal to shoppers, but benefit Angel Foundation and the families facing cancer we serve. Amid the trips to apple orchards, pumpkin patches and football games, see if you can make time to check them out:

Saturday, Sept. 21: Angel’s Attic “Treasures of the World” sale in Plymouth. The volunteer angels in the Attic have been extremely hard at work transforming the former Four Seasons Mall into a shopping mecca. Before the big sale opens in a few weeks, this Saturday will open for an exclusive one-day sale of antique and vintage art and artifacts, and new fair trade goods from Asia, Africa the Pacific, and Central and South America. Seriously amazing — you won’t want to miss this. https://mnangel.org/posts/126

Thursday, Oct. 3: Angels & Divas at the Graves 601. Not only is this a fabulous runway fashion show, but the event features after-party shopping from a variety of vendors. Sip a cocktail, mingle and enjoy a fun night of fashions and accessories from Brightwater, J.Hillburn, Corset Styling, Flaunt Accessories, CABI, Just Cause Jewelry, Happy Gal, Arbonne, Olive Grove and Lala Red. And, new this week: The first 300 who register will receive a free fashion scarf from Happy Gal. Plus, three lucky recipients will also receive a Tory Burch ‘Halland’ Silk Scarf (MSRP per scarf: $155)! Thanks to sponsors Minnesota Oncology, Juut, Insperity, and Adefris & Toppin Women’s Specialists. Register at https://mnangel.org/events/item/52

Oct. 12-16: Angel’s Attic at Four Seasons Mall in Plymouth. This is it—the sale of sales. Angel Foundation staff visited en masse this week, and we are so impressed by this labor of love from the volunteers who created the event to raise money for Angel Foundation. Over a hundred volunteers work on this sale all year for the exclusive benefit of Angel to help adults with cancer and their families. (Last year this sale raised more than $140,000 for Angel Foundation!) There are hundreds of thousands of items here in every category. By the time the sale opens Oct. 12, all items will have been artfully arranged and displayed into stores throughout the mall. Mark your calendar. https://mnangel.org/events/item/79

Happy shopping!
