Twice, or is it Thrice, the Gift?
Twice the Gift, a special store where non-profits have merchandise and share cards for sale to the general public, had its quiet opening on October 15 with the Grand Opening set for October 28. Sponsored by a grant from the Pohlad Foundation and managed by Partnership Resources, Inc., Twice the Gift brings together one-of-a-kind products and gift ideas from 60 nonprofits.
We are excited to announce that Just Cause Jewelry, founded by Kelly Grosklags and Marcia Johnson, and benefitting Angel Foundation was selected to participate this year. Merchandise offered by Just Cause Jewelry at the store includes bookmarks, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and pens. Each unique item is lovingly made by Kelly and Marcia using Swarovski crystals.
Each nonprofit is given a day that they are featured during the two months of operation and Angel Foundation selected December 15th. We will have staff and Angel Board members on site and even Buster the Therapy Dog is planning to make an appearance that day.
We think that it should be called “Thrice the Gift” as it raises funds for the non-profits, raises awareness of the nonprofits’ mission to the community and provides gifts for the purchaser.
The store is located in the Crystal Court at IDS on the first floor (80 S. 8th Street). Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Please stop by and help support Angel Foundation and other nonprofits in the Twin Cities.
